2026 Colorado Midterm Election

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026 – so mark your calendar and remember to vote or be in line by 7 p.m!

If you’re asking what the f*ck this election people are talking about on November 3 is, don’t worry! We have the answers.

Voters across the state will get the opportunity to vote for statewide offices such as Governor, Secretary of State, and Attorney General, as well as their state legislators and a long list of ballot measures that will shape our communities for years to come.

Every election is a chance for a new generation of voters to be heard. Young people make up 1 in every 3 voters in Colorado, so when we show up, we decide who wins and who loses.

Your state. Your generation. Your chance to shape the future.

How Do I Vote?

Ballots were mailed out to all registered voters on Tuesday, October 2, so check your mailbox and confirm you got yours! Here are three ways to vote and have your voice heard this election:

A ballot drop box in Colorado
  1. 1. DROP IT OFF.  Make sure your vote is counted by dropping off your completed ballot at a drop box by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3. Drop boxes are open 24/7 through 7 p.m. on Election Day. Find a location near you!
  2. 2. MAIL IT BACK. You can also return your ballot by mail to your county clerk. If you choose this option, don’t forget to add stamps (we always recommend two, just in case) and mail it by Monday, October 26, to ensure it arrives at the County Clerk’s Office by Election Day.
  3. 3. IN PERSON. If you didn’t receive your ballot in the mail, need a new ballot, or need to register to vote, you can vote in person at a Voter Service Center in your county. Find a location near you! If you’re voting in person, remember to bring an accepted form of ID, which you can find here.

If you’re dropping your ballot off or mailing it in, double-check the instructions on your ballot. And don’t forget to sign the envelope!
