WTF IS A RUNOFF?

Since no candidate received more than 50% of the vote in the November 2023 election, the mayoral race in Pueblo has gone into a runoff between the top two candidates: Councilwoman Heather Graham and Mayor Nick Gradisar. This means young voters get another chance for the candidate who best represents our issues. But wtf changes because it’s a runoff?

Pueblo’s mayoral runoff election is a mail ballot-only election, which means ballots will only be mailed to registered voters. If you’re not registered to vote, you can still register online at the Secretary of State’s website and then receive a ballot in person (read below for more information)! We recommend you register to vote or update your voter registration by Jan. 22 to vote in the Jan. 23 election.

Remember: Be in line or drop off your ballot at a drop box by 7 p.m. on Election Day, Jan. 23!
